[QUICK UPDATE] Hello guys 🔆 Thanks for your feedbacks and for you long time support 🙏 @Sfstocks @coinflipcanada @jeronemoo @tatokox @McNultyFR It's time to speak with transparency: When I first join the team, I wrote a medium regarding the burning-rate, and then, @vince_hfr have modeled a projection of the datas, with different maths, for a better understanding of our propositions overtime. We made few suggestions. None of which has been chosen yet. 💠 We first proposed to raise the burnrate with a similar model as describe in the WhitePaper: • 30% as long as all the tokens burned do not exceed 10% of the max supply; • Then 25% as long as the total tokens burned do not exceed 20% of the max supply; • Then 20% as long as all the tokens burned do not exceed 50% of the max supply; BCD reserves the right to modify this rate at a later date if more than 66.6% of the maximum provision has been burned; But we must not forget that the "burning part" is direct a cost for EvidenZ - BCdiploma. We were afraid of making a rush decision that was too costly for the good of the company in the long term. 💠 We also proposed to extend & maintain the model you all already know: • 25% as long as all the tokens burned do not exceed 10% of the max supply; • Then 20% as long as the total tokens burned do not exceed 20% of the max supply; • Then 15% as long as all the tokens burned do not exceed 50% of the max supply; BCD reserves the right to modify this rate at a later date if more than 66.6% of the maximum provision has been burned; As a reminder, the $BCDT burn rate, as written in the whitepaper, was initially set at 25% for the first 3 years. Meaning 2018, 2019, 2020. 💠 We have graciously extended it to 25% for an additional year in 2021, and we made the same choice for 2022. Our goal was to pleased the community & to not rush this choice which can have a huge impact on the future. Few more things: - Since 2018, the team buyback $BCDT on the market to support the token and the community, this wasn't written in the WhitePaper, yet, the team did it multiple times. - Since 2018, our 2 co-founders, Luc Jarry-Lacombe et Vincent Langard never sold 1 $BCDT - Our wallet mywallet.cloud can change a lot of things. It could be develop as a new use case for the $BCDT. A space in which students can directly receive their certificates, in different format, and $BCDT will have a role to play. - We are aware of our weaknesses regarding the transparancy of some data, which will soon be resolved by updating the website, & we are confident for the future. We know that the tokenomics of $BCDT are goods and that our solution is being used more and more everyday. We must maintain & improve our model at all costs. But we need times to do the right choice. ✅
